Profile
I build practical software and improve complex systems. My background combines regulated medical-device engineering, mission-critical aerospace support, and modern software development. I am pursuing software engineering and health-technology work where reliable systems, good data, and thoughtful engineering can make a real difference.
What I bring
- Experience investigating defects, analyzing system behavior and logs, validating fixes, and improving test coverage in a regulated medical-device environment.
- Full-stack and backend project work using C#, ASP.NET Core, TypeScript, React, Next.js, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong foundation in relational data modeling, REST APIs, authentication and authorization, automated testing, CI, and cloud deployment.
- A systems mindset built through aerospace, medical-device, and cross-functional engineering work: understand the problem, find evidence, make a change safely, and prove it worked.
Technical toolkit
Languages: C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Java, C
Backend & data: ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, SQLite, SQL Server, Drizzle ORM
Web & mobile: React, Next.js, React Native, Expo, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS
Engineering practices: Git, GitHub Actions, xUnit, Moq, integration testing, structured logging, debugging, CI/CD, Swagger/OpenAPI
Cloud & platforms: Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Vercel, Supabase, Neon, Cloudflare R2
Selected software work
Clinic Intake API
Built and deployed a healthcare-focused ASP.NET Core API with JWT authentication, clinic-scoped authorization, Entity Framework Core, testing, health checks, structured logging, GitHub Actions CI, and Azure SQL readiness.
Digital Knowledgebase
Building a full-stack knowledge system that connects notes, references, projects, and tasks through PostgreSQL relationships, authenticated workflows, rich text, and search.
TextBound
Designing a local-first research tool that imports source text, retrieves supporting passages with SQLite full-text search, and keeps answers tied to evidence.
